Do I need to install an app or extension?

No. You record your screen, camera and microphone in the browser. Your browser will ask which tab, window or screen you want to share.

What does Rescreen edit automatically?

Rescreen adds zooms and a background, reduces microphone noise, balances voice levels, speeds up silent still screens, trims the beginning and end, and removes filler words and detected retakes.

Can I change the automatic edit?

Yes. Restore a cut, remove more words, adjust zooms and playback speed, or choose another background. The original recording is preserved.

Do I need a professional microphone?

No. Rescreen reduces background noise and balances the level of your microphone audio. A built-in or everyday microphone is enough to get started; results depend on the original recording and your environment.

Can I download in 4K?

Yes. You can export in 4K, 2K or HD. Native detail depends on the resolution captured by your browser. An export above your source resolution is an upscale.

How do I share a recording?

Send a share link that anyone can open without an account, or download the finished video to upload to your social accounts.
